Background[edit]

Hidden Road and Virtu Financial[edit]

She joined Hidden Road in 2022, where she guided the firm's operations, risk, and international regulatory approvals and was instrumental in launching new business lines, including digital prime brokerage and synthetic prime services.[2] Before that, Litman spent nearly eight years at Virtu Financial.[3] There, she served as head of fixed income and FX, and later as co-head of crypto, leading electronic liquidity and sales teams serving institutional clients in rates, credit, FX, metals, cryptocurrencies, and futures markets.[4]

Earlier Roles: KCG Holdings, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, UBS[edit]

Litman also held senior roles at KCG Holdings as head of acknowledged fixed income, specializing in liquidity strategy and treasury products, and at Bank of America as a futures professional. At Goldman Sachs, she worked on global futures and execution strategy, while her career began at UBS Investment Bank in futures trading, focusing on institutional clients and providing global market access during periods of increased electronic trading and regulatory change.[5]

Avalanche Treasury Company and Digital Asset Focus[edit]

Litman became chief operating officer of Avalanche Treasury Company in 2025. Avalanche Treasury Company is dedicated to active digital asset treasury management and ecosystem investment, backed by leading traditional and crypto-native investors. Litman oversees operations, risk management, and institutional growth strategies as the firm pursues a $1 billion treasury milestone. The company is positioned as both a holder and an active investor in the Avalanche blockchain, targeting protocol investments, on-chain rails for stablecoins and payments, and institutional launches with direct support for validators and liquidity.[6] Litman is part of a leadership team comprised of Wall Street and digital asset market veterans, leveraging experience across global trading and risk management.

Key Collaborators and Industry Impact[edit]

Throughout her career, Litman has collaborated with numerous industry professionals and mentors at global banks, trading firms, and digital asset companies. At Avalanche Treasury Company, she collaborates with CEO Bart Smith, formerly of Susquehanna International Group and AllianceBernstein, and Chief Strategy Officer Budd White, formerly of Multisig Labs. The team is advised by Ava Labs' founder Emin Gün Sirer and joined by board members from the Avalanche Foundation and leading digital finance firms.

Awards and Recognition[edit]

Litman was recognized for her role in advancing electronic trading and FX desk operations, having received the Excellence in FX Trading award at the 2021 Women in Finance Awards.[7] She is noted in the industry for championing best practices in technology, regulatory compliance, and operational resilience.

Education[edit]

Litman holds a Bachelor of Science in economics from the University of Pennsylvania, with concentrations in finance and marketing and a minor in classical studies.[8]

Risk Management[edit]

Litman’s leadership in risk management has been central at both Hidden Road and Avalanche Treasury Company, where she governs operational and investment risk controls in digital asset markets. She has contributed to the development of cross-margining solutions and the promotion of robust regulatory approaches in institutional finance.

Controversies[edit]

There have been no public controversies associated with Litman. Her work has focused on establishing platforms that prioritize institutional security, transparency, and compliance, which reflects the ongoing evolution of risk standards in both traditional and digital finance.
