McKay Brothers is a microwave telecommunications company dedicated to designing, engineering, building and operating low latency networks between financial centers. The company has facilitated live customer trading since mid-2012.


History[edit]

McKay Brothers provides low latency wireless networks for firms trading in financial markets. McKay opened long-haul microwave networks in the US in 2012, Europe in 2014, and Asia in 2016. The company operates metro networks between key financial exchanges in Illinois, New Jersey and the UK. Mckay opened Transatlantic and Transpacific bandwidth networks in 2020.

Sister company Quincy Data distributes more wireless financial market data globally than any provider. The Quincy Extreme Data service is an integrated and normalized feed of select market data sourced from financial exchanges globally and delivered at extremely low latency to twenty-one major trading centers in North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. The Quincy Raw Data (QRD) and Quincy Protected Data (QPD) services offer equity and futures data feeds in the native exchange format in the New Jersey and Illinois metro markets. QRD is the lowest latency market data service for the three largest US equity exchanges as well as the two largest futures exchanges.[1]
