Philippe Brassac is chief executive officer of Crédit Agricole S.A. He was appointed to that role on 20 May 2015. He joined Crédit Agricole du Gard in 1982 and held several executive offices there before being appointed, in 1994, deputy chief executive Officer of Crédit Agricole des Alpes Maritimes, now Crédit Agricole Provence Côte d’Azur. [1]

In 1999, he joined Caisse Nationale de Crédit Agricole as director of relations with regional banks. Since 2001, he has been chief executive officer of Crédit Agricole Provence Côte d’Azur. Brassac was elected deputy chairman of Fédération Nationale du Crédit Agricole in 2008, becoming secretary general in 2010.
